The color of the frames and grills is now whiter (less beige) and the new color will be more consistent. The sound is improved: The same awesome bass response is maintained and is complemented by greater midrange clarity. The off-axis power response is more uniform for greater coverage. The woofer basket is more rigid and less resonant. Bass and mid-bass are cleaner and tighter. The terminals are improved for a more secure grip on speaker wires.
