Who can buy from Custom Distributing? Top
Custom Distributing sells only to other retailers within our assigned US territory of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee . We do not sell to the public. If you are an end-user in one of these states and need to find a retailer near you, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you. If you are an end-user outside of these states, you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to find a retailer in your area.
What do I have to do to set up an account? Top
In order to set up an account with us, you will need to fax a copy of your current business license and state tax ID number along with our dealer application to 770-439-6413 or 800-984-6712. A salesperson will contact you to determine what product lines are available to you and how we can best serve your company. Please see Payment Terms Available for details on various payment options.
Why is distribution limited to AL, GA, MS, NC, SC and TN? Top
The manufacturers of the products we carry assign certain distributors to various parts of the country called territories. We are limited to selling to dealers/retailers located in these assigned areas.
Can I buy products if I am not in one of these states? Top
Dealers outside of our assigned territory should contact the manufacturer directly to locate the appropriate distributor for their area.
How do I get dealer pricing? Top
Dealer pricing can be obtained by completing a dealer application and faxing your request to our office at 800-984-6712 or 770-439-6413 along with a current business license and state tax ID certificate. Please include specific products or lines you may be interested in so we can get you the information you need quickly.
How do I request a catalog? Top
Our hard copy catalogs contain dealer pricing as well as printed literature and can be requested by following the instructions for getting dealer pricing above.
How do I get online access? Top
Existing dealers can request online access by completing an online dealer access request. Your account must be established and passwords will be approved individually.
Can I buy your products online? Top
No, we do not sell anything online. If you would like to place an order, please give us a call or send an email to sales@customdistributing.com. Please see "Who can buy from Custom Distributing" for more details.
Can I re-sell your products online? Top
The only products available for resale online are our in-house brand in-ceiling speakers. Our other brands are not available for resale online. If they are sold or purchased online by an unauthorized retailer, the manufacturers warranty is voided and will not be honored. This is the case with many brands, so we encourage consumers to be careful when buying electronics online.
What payment terms are available? Top
We offer payment by Cashiers check, money order, credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Payment by company check or Open account terms will be considered with submission of a credit application.
Do you dropship? Top
No, orders will be shipped to the dealer address on file. We do not accept third party orders. Credit card orders must be shipped to an address on file with the credit card company. Addresses will be verified prior to shipment.
How long will it take to receive my order? Top
Once your order is received and approved for shipment, you should receive it within 2-4 business days. Most dealers in our territory are only 2-3 days away from our warehouse via UPS, which is our primary method of shipment.
What is the warranty on the products you sell? Top
Custom Distributing does not offer any warranty, expressed or implied.
What happens if I have a return? Top
No merchandise can be returned without prior authorization from Custom Distributing Company. Units returned without authorization will not be accepted. You may request a return authorization number by completing an RA Request Form. All returns of merchandise with original factory defects are for repair or replacement only. Any credits issued for returned merchandise will be less any necessary charges for repairing or refinishing, and a 20% restocking charge will be applied against any credits issued for merchandise returned for credit only. Merchandise returned by the dealer to Custom Distributing Company for any reason must be shipped prepaid.

Instructions: 926-RCA & 927-BNC Compression connector for RGB MINI
Must use specific stripper for this wire. PART # 818-SCP. OR COMAPARABLE BRAND OF RGB-MINI COAX. STANDARD COAX STRIPPER WILL NOT WORK
(Step A)
USING RGB-MINI COAX STRIPPER- STRIP CABLE TO ¼” X ¼” INDUSTRY STANDARD
These tolerances for length must be exact to avoid loose compression & signal loss
SOLID CENTER CONDUCTOR-------Do not use sleeve pin (See step B) Next
STRANDED CENTER CONDUCTOR--This must be twisted tightly in a clockwise motion to slide sleeve over the strands. TRIM THE CENTER CONDUCTOR TO 1/8” OR 4 mm2
PLACE THE PIN (sleeve) OVER THE EXPOSED CENTER CONDUCTOR.
(Step B)
INSERT ENTIRE ASSEMBLY INTO REAR OF RCA OR BNC BODY. PUSH BODY OF CONNECTOR ONTO WIRE 5/8” OF OUTER WIRE JACKET.
MARK OUTER JACKET (COLOR JACKETED AREA) @ 5/8” AND SLIDE CONNECTOR PAST THIS MARKING
(Step C)
PLACE BNC OR RCA CONNECTOR IN COMPRESSION TOOL & FULLY CRIMP.
RECOMMEND: FIRST TIME USE WITH MINI COAX STRIPPER. MOST TOOLS NEED TO BE ADJUSTED FOR OPTIMUM CUTTING DEPTH. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED WITH THE ALLEN WRENCH PROVIDED WITH THE COAX STRIPPER

*****MUST NOT BE ANY BRAIDING FOLDED BACK OR ON THE WHITE DIE ELECTRIC.******
If using stranded center conductor.This must be twisted tightly in a clockwise motion to slide sleeve over the strands.
Slide compression barrel over coax and twist clockwise direction, far enough so that 5/8” of outer coax jacket is inserted inside the barrel before using compression tool.
